KEDUGOU, June 27 (APS) – Kedugou regional authorities on Wednesday started burning 33,317 kilograms of banned merchandise with a complete worth of 320,405,000 CFA francs, APS famous.

These unlawful merchandise embody cannabis, chicha, performance-enhancing tablets and expired meals and medicines.

They have been cremated in a ceremony presided over by the native governor, Mariama Traoré.

In response to the executive director of the area, the cremation ceremony was held “to commemorate World Drug Day.”

The burned merchandise have been “confiscated by numerous departments of the territorial administration,” she recalled.

They have been cremated on the Keniotto rubbish dump on Saraya Highway exterior Kedugu city.

Mariama Traoré insisted that the consumption of merchandise unfit for consumption and poisonous substances has “dangerous penalties”, whereas calling for a “everlasting battle” to proceed towards these merchandise.
