Senior State Department Official Calls for President Petro to Condemn Hamas and Address Comparisons to Nazi Regime

A week ago, a senior State Department official, Deborah Lipstadt, made a strong call to President Petro to condemn Hamas.

This following President Petro compared what happened in the Gaza Strip with the Nazi regime.

In response to W Radio, a State Department spokesperson insisted that they support the call made by Ambassador Lipstadt.

“We strongly condemn President Petro’s statements and ask him to condemn Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, for its barbaric murder of Israeli men, women and children,” the senior official said.
