A group of armed motorcyclists appeared while the woman was sitting in front of her house.
A 76-year-old woman was shot in the head while she was in front of her house, according to Diario 2001.
The incident occurred on Barrio Nuevo de Carora street, in Lara, where several armed men appeared on a motorcycle when a group of people were gathered in front of the victim’s home.
The subjects shot at a young man, who was a relative of the septuagenarian. At that moment, a bullet hit the woman, who was lying on the ground without vital signs.
After what happened, the attackers fled the site.
“The relatives ran to the firefighters’ headquarters and asked for help to be able to transfer her to the Carora hospital,” reported Diario 2001.
The Investigative, Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistics Corps (Cicpc) moved to the place to start the corresponding process for the capture of the murderers.
