Servel clarified error in vote counting at 151M table in Los Angeles

The Electoral Service (Servel) issued a clarification by Questions to the vote count of the presidential elections at table 151M of the German Lyceum of the Divine Word, local of suffrage of the commune of The Angels last November 21.

According to a photograph that circulates on social networks, the role of the table it counts 71 of the 180 votes for the candidate of the Christian Social Front, José Antonio Kast and 19 votes for Franco Parisi, of the People’s Party. However, an act published by the Servel indicates that there were 17 votes for Kast and 73 for Parisi.

In this regard, the electoral body indicated that “the record received by the Servel, which is digitized and available in the display of preliminary results, it points to 17 votes for the Kast candidate and 19 votes for the Parisi candidate, with a total of 180 votes. The value entered for the candidate Kast is consistent with the minutes received ”.

“However, yesand wrongly typed 73 votes for the candidate Parisi in the preliminary results of the Servel, matching the 180 votes “, added.

The letter remarked that “unfortunately, The Scrutineer College did not correct this error in its results and kept the preliminaries of the Servel. Nor were there attorneys who noticed the error in said instance “

In this way, the Servel explained that “We are in the presence of different records, where one of them contains the error of having altered the numbers (17 instead of 71) and also the fingering. We note that there is a third copy of the tally sheet in the hands of the Tricel that will determine the final tally for this table ”.

Along these lines, they recalled that lThe results issued “are preliminary and have no legal value as scrutiny.”

At the end, the agency called the candidates involved to “Request rectification of the results of this table to the Tricel in accordance with article 109 of Law 18,700 on Voting and Scrutiny and eventually a new scrutiny.”
