Set Expands Stores in Japan & China, Eyes North America & Europe

Contemporary fashion brand Satur is rapidly expanding its international presence, fueled by strong sales and a strategic partnership with K-pop group RIIZE. The brand, owned by Recipe Group, is experiencing significant growth in key Asian markets and is now setting its sights on North America and Europe. This expansion comes as Satur reported annual revenue of 110 billion Korean won (approximately $80.4 million USD as of March 22, 2026, based on current exchange rates XE.com).

Satur’s global push began in February 2025 with the opening of its first flagship store in Taipei, Taiwan. The store quickly became a success, generating over 100 million Korean won (approximately $73,000 USD) in revenue during its first week and maintaining an average monthly revenue of 200 million Korean won (approximately $146,000 USD) over the past year. This initial success paved the way for expansion into Japan and China later in 2025.

Strong Performance in Key Markets

The brand’s Japanese debut in October 2025, with a flagship store in Harajuku, saw first-week sales exceeding 300 million Korean won (approximately $219,000 USD), accumulating 1.3 billion Korean won (approximately $950,000 USD) in revenue by the conclude of December. Satur has continued to bolster its presence in Japan, recently opening a novel store in Osaka’s Lukua Mall and hosting a pop-up shop in Sapporo’s Parco department store from March 14th to April 5th. Further expansion is planned, with new stores slated to open in Tokyo’s Gotemba Premium Outlets, Osaka, and Nagoya’s Parco Mall by February 2027.

In China, Satur launched six stores in Beijing (Hucheng Hui and Sanlitun), Chengdu, Yanji, Shanghai, and Jinan (Qingdao) between November and December 2025. The company aims to add 20 more stores in major Chinese commercial districts throughout 2026.

RIIZE Partnership Drives Brand Awareness

Satur’s momentum is likewise attributed to a strategic partnership with the K-pop group RIIZE, who were appointed as global brand ambassadors in September 2025 Sports Khan. The collaboration has resulted in increased brand awareness and a surge in sales, with many items experiencing rapid sell-outs. The partnership leverages RIIZE’s significant influence in markets like Japan, Taiwan, and China, broadening Satur’s consumer base.

The brand’s recent campaign with RIIZE focuses on the theme of “youth,” blending neo-classic and youth-classic styles. The campaign features the group showcasing Satur’s key autumn items, such as the ‘Paro Oversized Boucle Cardigan,’ in various looks. Campaign visuals and videos were released on official social media channels starting March 19th, accompanied by a promotion offering limited-edition photocards with purchases made at Satur stores and online platforms, including Musinsa and 29CM.

Future Expansion Plans

While Satur is focused on solidifying its position in Asia, the brand is also exploring opportunities in North America and Europe. No specific timelines have been announced for these expansions, but the company’s success in existing markets suggests a strong potential for growth in new territories. Satur is also prioritizing the expansion of its offline channels domestically.

Satur’s success story highlights the growing influence of K-fashion on the global stage. By combining strategic partnerships, targeted marketing, and a commitment to quality and style, Satur is poised to turn into a leading player in the international fashion market. The brand’s continued expansion will be closely watched by industry observers as it navigates the evolving landscape of global retail.
