Rome/Bologna – The severe storms in northern Italy’s Adriatic region of Emilia Romagna, which have killed nine, have also caused serious damage to agriculture and livestock, a key economic sector in the area. In the area between Forlì and Rimini alone, the damage to the fields amounts to one and a half billion euros, according to the Coldiretti agricultural association.
