After a pause for national team matches, the Olimpbet-Kazakhstan Football Championship resumes. On the first day of April, three matches of the fourth round of the KPL will be held. The main event of Saturday’s game day will be the confrontation in Karaganda, where the local Shakhtar will take on their most principled opponent – Almaty’s Kairat.
This will be the Pitmen’s first truly home match in the 2023 season. In the second round, Shakhtar was only the formal owner of the field in the meeting with Ordabasy. Their showdown took place at the Astana Arena, which became the temporary home of Igor Soloshenko’s team, while it was impossible to play at the stadium in Karaganda.
At home, the Pitmen, of course, count on the fact that, finally, they will be able to get hold of points, which the team does not have yet. But the “Kairatians” are also not averse to extending their successful streak in the championship and achieving another victory.
