Washington: The White House announced Shakuntla El Bhaya as a member of the Council of the Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS). The Council of the Administrative Conference of the United States is an independent federal agency charged with convening expert representatives from the public and private sectors to recommend improvements in administrative processes and procedures.
Shakuntla Bhaya will focus on representing individuals who have been seriously injured as a result of businesses and unsafe decision-makers, according to a statement released by the White House. He has been a member of Governor Carney’s Judicial Nominating Commission for the past seven years.
Apart from practicing law, Bhaya is also active in Delaware politics. He is currently a member of the State Executive Committee of the Delaware Democratic Party.
