Hey, totally meta: In the ProSieben trash format “The Big Celebrity Penance” – the second season of the pseudo-repentance spectacle has just started on ProSieben – celebrities are supposed to pay for doing exactly what they did in other trash formats What they are expected to do is what they are paid for and how broadcasters make ratings: namely, to say stupid sayings and to be sexist, embarrassing, drunk, deep, aggressive, mean, unfair. And they now have to pay for the fact that they were exactly what the broadcaster and trash audience wanted, which is how ProSieben generates ratings once more. Hey, that’s a really cool idea!
