Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented the moment a shark attacked a tourist and devoured him on one of the beaches of Hurghada waters, Egypt.

The video showed the man close to the shore as the shark attacked him, devouring his entire body.

According to “preliminary information” from the correspondent of the “Al-Marsad” in Hurghada, he confirmed that the tourist was of Russian nationality, and that he was killed following being eaten by the shark, and the area was evacuated and the state of emergency lifted.

He pointed out that the area is witnessing a state of alert from the competent authorities, as the shark headed to the Marriott village and began attacking tourists on the beach.

For its part, the Russian embassy said in a statement: “A man died as a result of a shark attack in the Dream Beach area (Hurghada). In this regard, we ask Russian tourists to be vigilant and use caution while in the water.”
