The explosion is coming soon. Director General of Al-Haq, one of the main Palestinian organizations for the defense of human rights, Shawan Jabarin sees the West Bank sinking into what he calls “a catastrophe”. This week, he accompanied a European diplomatic delegation to the city of Jenin, following the Israeli army killed nine Palestinians and caused enormous damage in an incursion last Thursday. Two years ago, Israel tried to ban this organization founded in 1979, on the grounds that it maintains links with terrorist organizations. But the Israeli “evidence file” had not convinced the European Union, which continues to partially fund the organization.
