Soccer player Luciano Sanchez suffered a chilling injury Tuesday in the Copa Libertadores.
The Argentinos Juniors defender suffered a serious knee injury following contact with Fluminense’s Marcelo.
Sanchez was carried off the field on a stretcher, while Marcelo received a red card for his gesture.
The Brazilian was in tears when the official showed him the exit door, visibly in shock at having injured his opponent.
