The horror incident took place in the Swedish city of Orebro.

Cops are looking for the suspected perpetrator, who is yet to be apprehended.

No arrests have yet been made, according to reports.

Emergency services are working at the scene in large numbers, and members of the public are urged to stay clear of the area.

The extent of the victims’ injuries is unclear at the present time.

Both were rushed to hospital in the aftermath of the shocking attack.

It is unknown whether the gunman was targeting the mosque or specific individuals.

Police have said they believe the shooting was linked to gang violence.

According to local TV news channel TV4, there has recently been tension between two rival gangs in the city.

A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been opened.

This is not the only horrifying shooting to have happened in Orebro this year.

In February, ten students and teachers were killed in a shocking attack at a school in the city.

The 35-year-old shooter turned the gun on himself after the slaughter.

It was the deadliest mass-shooting in Swedish history.
