Esports organization Shopify Rebellion has announced that it has released the entire Valorant Game Changers roster, leaving multiple players without teams. As for why the decision was made, Shopify Rebellion said the team didn’t meet expectations. The team’s most notable finish was a second-place finish at the 2022 Game Changers Championship, but have struggled to reach the same level of success since then. That means the entire roster, including Kayla “flowerful” Horton, Erika “KP” Lytle, Diana “sonder” Zhang, “cbui” Vannesa “panini” Emory, head coach Rob “rob-wiz” Kennedy, assistant coach Franklin “FIN Both Ascencio and manager Duc “Fullmetal” Vu are able to explore contract opportunities elsewhere. Shopify Rebellion says it remains committed to Game Changers for now and is exploring options for a new roster.
