Enghien-les-Bains
The Impressions bookstore in Enghien-les-Bains welcomes the illustrator and storyboarder Mohamed Kraytem for a signing session from the album “Escape Ghosn”.
In the booklet dedicated to “Escape Ghosn”he tells us regarding his work:
“I was in a bit of a dull period, stuck between the crisis and covid.
Then, Marwan Damrani offered me this big project!
I attended the interviews with Anthony and Carlos Ghosn.
I saw how Michèle Standjofski converted them into a screenplay.
She worked with small post-its stuck to her wall that she moved with each modification. A real puzzle!
Then came my turn with the storyboard and sketches.
When I hesitated between several options, the team helped me decide and Joanna, the project coordinator, gave rhythm to my renderings.
My doubts disappeared. I had to move forward and get to inking.
So the highlights were all these interactions with the team.
