Silent Hill: News on Konami’s horror franchise this Wednesday

Konami is meeting fans this Wednesday as the publisher will share a ‘transmission’ regarding the terrifying video game series Silent Hill.

On Sunday, Konami issued an invitation to visit the official page of Silent Hill in order to watch a video that will be released this Wednesday at 5 p.m., revealing updates on the horror franchise.

Although nothing is confirmed, Masahiro Ito, the former artistic director of Silent Hill 2 et Silent Hill 3, might be involved in the project. Ito retweeted Konami’s announcement on his Twitter account and is also posting countdowns coinciding with the time of Wednesday’s presentation.

Ten years have passed since the release of the last game in the main series. We also recall that nothing concrete has come out regarding the franchise since the terrifying demo P.T. on PS4, and the cancellation of the project Silent Hills by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro for Konami, in 2015.

We will therefore know more this Wednesday at 5 p.m. on the future of Silent Hilla franchise beloved by horror fans.
