The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation proposes to ban the import of cars from friendly countries under simplified requirements. About it reported on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on February 22.

“The proposal of the Ministry of Industry and Trade provides for a ban on the import of cars from friendly countries under simplified requirements from June 1, 2023,” the message says.

All imported cars will once more have to be equipped with an emergency call. According to the document, the rules will be valid until at least February 1, 2024.

The requirements for the import of cars were simplified in the summer of 2022 specifically for parallel imports.
