Since 2019, the Prime Minister has made 21 foreign visits at a cost of Rs 22.76 crore

New Delhi: Since 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made 21 foreign visits and has spent 22.76 crore rupees on this, the central government told the Rajya Sabha. Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muralidharan informed the House in his written reply.

22,76,76,934 for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign visits and External Affairs Minister S. 20,87,01,475 rupees were also spent on Jaishankar’s foreign visits, said V. Muralidharan’s reply says. From 2019 S. Jaishankar has made 86 foreign visits.

Since 2019, 6.24 crore rupees have been spent on foreign visits of two Presidents. Ram Nath Kovind has made seven foreign visits since 2019 as President. Draupadi Murmu, who became the President in 2022, has so far made one foreign visit. It was to the UK last September.
