Singer Yaroslav Dronov, known under the pseudonym Shaman, came to Tver with a concert. Before the performance, he visited the grave of the famous chansonnier Mikhail Krug and laid flowers at it. Posts video from the scene 5-tv.ru.
Shaman admitted that he owes a lot to Mikhail Krug, who at one time helped the young performer a lot. The fact is that Yaroslav Dronov’s musical career began in one of the restaurants in his hometown of Novomoskovsk, whose visitors often ordered songs by the legendary Tver chansonnier.
Mikhail Krug passed away 21 years ago. He was killed by criminals who broke into the chansonnier’s house. The musician was shot by a member of the Tver Wolves gang, Dmitry Veselov – “Vesel”. He snuck into the singer’s house with another gang member, Alexander Ageev (“Strelkom”), to steal valuables and a collection of icons, the criminals planned to return all this for a reward. But Mikhail Krug returned home earlier, “Vesel” panicked and pulled the trigger.
In memory of the legendary singer, a monument was erected on Radishchev Boulevard in Tver, which appeared here in 2007. It was opened on City Day.
