President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi thanked the Arab Gulf states for their support to Egypt over the past years.
Al-Sisi said, during the inauguration of new projects in the Suez Canal, today, Thursday: Egyptians should pay attention, because without the support of the Gulf countries, this country would not have been completed..
He added: Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Kuwait put huge numbers.. Every month, petroleum products and millions of dollars came in. If we admit that, we will not be good.
He continued, “We would have had a great crisis. The brothers took a very big pause for 18 months. Oil derivatives were coming for free, and they were transferred from the Red Sea to the Egyptian ports.”
