Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico says he supports the peace initiative of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who visited Kyiv and Moscow in a short time

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico claims that he supports the peace initiative of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who recently visited Kyiv and Moscow. Both the EU and NATO distanced themselves from the Hungarian prime minister and reminded that he does not have a mandate for any negotiations.

“I am among the politicians who support an immediate ceasefire and the start of peace talks with the participation of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, the USA, China and the EU. If further escalation of tensions takes precedence over peace negotiations, let’s not be surprised by a new, significantly more terrible quality of the war conflict in Ukraine.” wrote Fico on Facebook.
