Small and Medium Enterprises in Saudi Arabia: 6% Increase in Revenue to $35 Billion – Latest Financial Review Report 2022

Dammam: Increase in income of small and medium enterprises in Saudi Arabia. The revenue increased by 6% to over 35 billion dollars. The increase was noted in last year’s Financial Review Report.

The report was released by the General Authority for Statistics citing the figure for 2022. In 2022, revenue is expected to grow by 5.8 percent to reach $35.7 billion. It was 3445 crores in the previous year.

The annual operating expenditure in this sector was also recorded at 1834 crores. An increase of 4.3 percent was recorded in this field compared to the previous year.

Small and medium enterprises are the fastest growing sector in the country. Nearly one lakh new enterprises are started in the country every year. At present there are 13 lakh companies working in this sector.
