Doha: FIFA has sold 29.50 lakh tickets for the FIFA World Cup so far.

29.50 lakh tickets were sold for 64 matches over 29 days. There is a long queue of people waiting for tickets outside the FIFA Ticket Center in Doha. The official online ticketing platform also has a lot of waiting to do. 24 lakh tickets were sold for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Qatar has already surpassed Russia in ticket sales. Qatar, Saudi Arabia, America, Mexico, Britain, UAE, Argentina, France, India and Brazil are leading countries in buying tickets.

FIFA President Infantino had previously stated that FIFA’s 4-year revenue would reach $7.5 billion by the end of the year. That’s more than a billion dollars in revenue growth over what was predicted four years ago.
