Actually, Sony has already done a lot of things right with the currently best in-ear headphones in its portfolio. With the WF-1000XM4 for in-ears, well-balanced sound meets above-average noise-cancelling, solid battery performance and a largely acceptable fit. Since the model has been on the market for more than two years, and very successfully according to the manufacturer, it is now time for a changing of the guard. From August, the WF-1000XM5 should take their place and score with a number of detailed improvements.
