Sony is investing heavily in authentication of authenticity in images and video, by supporting the features of its still cameras, develop the algorithms for the process And now also let their new camcorders get the same technology for authenticity verification.
The Sony PXW-Z30 has precisely this opportunity for verification built-in, which makes it suitable for journalists and photographers who need to show the authenticity of its captured material. The camera has a 17X zoom lens of f/1.9 and built-in variable ND filter (1/4-1/128), with the possibility to record up to 4K/60p on the 1/2 inch fictory sensor.

The camcorder also has AI support for motif recognition, which improves the autofocus and the ability to follow and stay focused on people moving in different directions or where you do not see the face.
The Sony PXW-Z30 also supports 5G to quickly transfer video via smartphone or live streaming via RTMP/RTMPS and SRT, while using WiFi or wired LAN.

PXW-Z300 supports recording of MXF files in format used in the XDCAM series, e.g. MPEG, HD422, XAVC Intra (4k/HD 4: 2: 2 10bit) and XAVC Long (4k 4: 2: 0 8bit/HD 4: 2: 2 10bit), and MP4 proxy recording in Hevc.

Support is also available for S-Cinetone, ITU709 and 709Tone from the Sony’s Cinema Line series, XDCAM and HDC series, supported by HLG Live, HLG Mild, HLG, Natural and 3D decisions from the user, which can also be adapted.
