The Greater Cairo Drinking Water Company announced the cutting off of water from the areas (Rafea Upper Egypt and the areas served from it – Republican Guard Training Center – Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Division – Quba City – Gamal Abdel Nasser Street and its branches – Central Security Camps on Gesr Al-Suez Street – Central Prison in Al-Nahda – Al-Farouqiah Residences affiliated to networks Heliopolis), for 8 hours.
The company added, in a statement, today, Saturday, that the service was cut off from eight o’clock in the evening, Saturday, 5-3-2022 until four o’clock in the morning, Sunday, 6-3-2022.
The company attributed the reason for the interruption due to maintenance work and changing the valve diameter 800/1000 mm inside the Upper Lifter.
The company called upon the owners of bakeries and hospitals to manage their water needs during the mentioned period.
The company has arranged for drinking water vehicles located in the affected areas, and if requested, please call the hotline 125 from the landline.
