Sound Physicians employs a team of over 4,000 medical professionals
specializing in crucial care areas.

A major shift in data management is underway at Sound Physicians as the
institution collaborates with WellStack to modernize its existing data
infrastructure. This strategic partnership aims to foster more informed
and data-driven choices across financial, clinical, and operational
sectors.

Enhanced Decision-Making Through Unified Data

The core of this initiative lies in the implementation of WellStack’s
Unified Data Model (UDM) in conjunction with the introduction of two new
analytics hubs: the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) decision hub and the
Accountable Care organization (ACO) Decision Hub. These tools are designed
to deliver real-time insights that enhance population health management,
revolutionize revenue cycle processes, and boost value-based care
initiatives.

According to Sound Physicians Medical Group President Dr. John birkmeyer,
“To deliver remarkable care at scale, we must continuously advance how we
utilize data across every component of our organization.” He further stated
that WellStack’s platform will facilitate real-time data-driven decisions,
deeper clinical understanding, and increased operational flexibility –
ultimately enabling better support for clinicians and their patients.

Data Consolidation and Standardization

This partnership will centralize data from a variety of sources,
including billing systems, payer details, and clinical records, ensuring
a more standardized and comprehensive data landscape.

WellStack CEO Rich Waller emphasized that Sound Physicians’
forward-thinking, physician-led approach aligns perfectly with wellstack’s
mission. He expressed pride in assisting Sound Physicians through its data
transformation journey, providing a platform that fosters smarter choices,
improved performance, and positive results at every stage of care delivery.

The collaboration is expected to deliver improved risk management, greater
operational agility, and proactive patient care within a continuously
evolving healthcare system. It is also integral to Sound’s broader strategy
to improve patient outcomes within the communities it serves.
