The body of the former Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos, who died on July 8 in Barcelona, will not be returned to the family, for the moment, according to a decision of the Spanish justice in order to carry out more analyzes, thus responding to the complaint of one of the daughters of the ex-president, Tchizé Dos Santos.

The controversy swells around the death of the former Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos. A Spanish magistrate has given his agreement for additional analyses, which will delay the handing over of the body to the family. Spanish justice took into account the complaint of Tchizé dos Santos.
The ex-president’s daughter accuses her father’s personal doctor and his last wife, Ana Paula, of being responsible for the deterioration of her health. His death, although considered natural by doctors, would be “ suspect “, in the words of Tchizé.
The latter would also like her father to be buried in Spain, where he had lived since 2019.
