2024-03-12 15:45:00

The 63rd musical season of Ajam will start this Wednesday, March 13, with a flute duet with Lucie Fischer/piano with Yiheng Wang.

With the arrival of spring and its joyful renewal, the Ajam is chirping to its heart’s content! On the bill, a native of the country, 21 years old, virtuoso of the instrument and well accompanied. On the program, a clever mix of solo and duo pieces.

Flute and piano: two completely opposite instruments! This is what interests Lucie Fischer and Yiheng Wang. Their project? Understanding them in their specificities, considering them as two very distinct solo entities, digging into their differences to create a new object, the duo.

In a big gap between Rameau and Martinů, the few references from the chamber repertoire chosen by the two musicians will demonstrate it with panache.

Originally from Alsace, Lucie Fischer studies at the CNSMDP with Philippe Bernold. Yiheng Wang is the winner of the 2021 Clara Haskill competition, and is currently in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel of Belgium.

Wednesday March 13 at 8 p.m. at the Colmar municipal theater. Online ticketing (on the website of the theater Or on ajam.fr) and at the concert ticket office: Colmar municipal theater (prices: €15; €12; €8; €6; €3; under-18s: free).
