Salzburg/Piesendorf/Zell am See – The Salzburg public prosecutor is investigating the murder of a 41-year-old who is said to have killed his separating 30-year-old wife in Piesendorf (Pinzgau) with three stab wounds on Friday. “The responsible officer will apply for the imposition of pre-trial detention today,” said a spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office on Monday to the APA. According to the police, the man basically confessed to the crime. His lawyer spoke of a “homicide in the affect”.
