A young man was stabbed in a tunnel at Aalst station on Sunday evening, confirms the East Flanders prosecutor’s office.
The incident took place shortly before 8:30 p.m. in one of the station’s tunnels. It was raining heavily at that time and many people had taken refuge in the tunnel. A young man would have liked to pass near a group, but a scuffle ensued, resulting in a stab wound.
The prosecution confirms that a victim was stabbed.
