Vienna – After the forest fires broke out on Rhodes and in other parts of Greece, the Foreign Ministry set up a crisis team that meets daily. In addition, a mobile crisis team was sent directly to Rhodes to support Austrians. In view of the fires and extreme weather that were spreading in the Mediterranean region, the ministry has now expanded the crisis management team to include France, Italy, Croatia, Portugal and Turkey.
