Thrikkarippur: Kasargod defeated Losers in the final of the state junior football championship. The hosts defeated Kannur by four goals to two. Parthiv scored the first goal for Kasargod in the 13th minute. Captain K.P. Inas secured the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal.
Akshay scored Kannur’s first goal before the break. Kiran equalized in the 58th minute (2 – 2). Abhishek scored two goals in the last five minutes to give Kasargod the victory.
