Vienna (OTS) – “With her tireless research, Heidemarie Uhl has made a significant contribution to dealing with National Socialism and to combating anti-Semitism,” said Andrea Mayer, Secretary of State for the Arts and Culture. “As a member and deputy chairwoman of the International Scientific Advisory Board of the House of Austrian History, she was one of the most active midwives of this important institution. Even following the opening, she was available to the hdgö as a consultant and sometimes also as a co-curator. For that I owe her my thanks and my appreciation. Unfortunately, Heidemarie Uhl leaves a large gap far too early.”
