The tourism industry has learned to deal with crises, says State Secretary Susanne Kraus-Winkler (ÖVP). She hopes that banks will defer repayments to companies if necessary; she does not expect a wave of insolvencies. In order to alleviate the prevailing labor shortage, the State Secretary calls for “a completely new solution to the issue of seasonal employment – more flexible, more practical” in the STANDARD interview.
