Vienna (OTS) – “Herbert Liaunig was a passionate art collector with great flair and a pioneer; He founded the ‘Museum Liaunig’, a center for contemporary Austrian art. Securing his collection for the public and opening up access for visitors with ambitious exhibitions and collection catalogs deserves great thanks and recognition. Initiatives like those of Herbert Liaunig further develop the Austrian art landscape and represent a great enrichment. It is comforting to know that his legacy will live on,” said Art and Culture State Secretary Andrea Mayer.
