Vienna (OTS) – “With Renald Deppe, the local music scene loses a creative doer and a multifaceted talent, a supporter and encourager for subsequent generations of musicians and composers. Renald Deppe was a constant and important player in the local jazz landscape and much more; Organiser, curator, visual artist, but above all a composer. Losing his stimulating and lasting influence on contemporary music development is a great loss. My deepest sympathy goes to his family, his friends and his numerous companions,” said Secretary of State for Art and Culture Andrea Mayer.
