The Pittsburgh Steelers extend Mitchell Trubisky’s contract. “We’re just wrapping this up,” General Manager Omar Khan confirmed on the PatMcAfeeShow. Accordingly, it should be a new two-year contract. The 28-year-old quarterback still had a year’s contract in Pittsburgh, but the Steelers want to lower the cap hit Trubiskys in 2023 by extending it. This is currently around ten million US dollars. The experienced playmaker will most likely start the upcoming season once more as a backup for the young Kenny Pickett.
