Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Steven Gerrard, coach of Al-Ettifaq Club, celebrated with the team’s players the second victory in the Saudi Professional League, capturing the attention of football fans.
The English coach led Al-Ettifaq Club to defeat its rival Al-Hazm with two clean goals, in the second round of the “Roshan” League for the 2023/24 season.
And the Al-Ittifaq Club account, through its account on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter), published a video, which showed great joy for the team’s players and their coach, and commented: “My loved ones, and I am dying in them, the joy of the commandos in achieving victory over Al-Hazm.”
And the club’s players chanted during their presence in the dressing room: “O Gerrard, O Opha, what greatness is all this.”
