The driver of the car that mowed down a group of Gilles at the Strépy-Bracquegnies Carnival, Paolo F., filmed himself driving the vehicle just before the accident on March 20. The prosecution confirmed this information from Sud Presse. It is not specified what this video contains, what the driver was able to film, and the prosecution does not confirm either the deletion of the video by the driver, mentioned by our colleagues. The accident claimed 6 victims.
Paolo F. is charged with murder for one victim and manslaughter for the other five.
