Students at the University of Florida in Gainesville demonstrated once morest Republican Senator Ben Sasse, who was visiting the campus and likely to be its next president. Sasse was chosen as a candidate for the job, in a process that was made secret by Governor Ron DeSantis. The students say that Sasse does not have the experience for this position and that, in addition, it would contribute to an increase in the politicization of this university.
