Successful film forum for World Alzheimer’s Day in Boconó

This Saturday, September 21, in the facilities of the parish hall of the El Carmen church, the Alzheimer Boconó civil association and the Llégate cultural platform held a film forum to commemorate the world day of this neurodegenerative disease.

This activity was held to raise awareness and sensitivity on the subject of Alzheimer’s in the municipality of Boconó and was very well received, more than 60 people were able to enjoy the Latin American documentary “La Memoria Infinita” for free.

In addition, a panel of experts managed to answer questions about the disease, how to prevent it and recommendations to families who must take care of the patients. The invited professionals, neurologist Óscar Valecillos, general practitioner José Gregorio La Cruz and psychologist Génesis Paredes met and exceeded expectations.
