The Société de développement commercial de Pointe-au-Pic (SDC) describes the second edition of the opening of the sector’s terraces as a great success.

The activity, which was held over two days, brought together 250 people. “It was full both nights. The participants loved it,” comments SDC coordinator Annick Perron.

The concept of the culinary journey spanned two days. On Wednesday, June 21, the restaurants of rue du Quai were featured with the Auberge des Falaises and 3 Canards as well as the Fairmont le Manoir Richelieu.

Thursday 22, it was the turn of the establishments of the rue Richelieu to receive. Tasting stops were added. “We improved this year. We have ideas for next year,” adds the coordinator.

The City of La Malbaie contributed financially to the activity.

The SDC de Pointe-au-Pic will continue its pilot project to illuminate trees on Richelieu Street. After the Marmite and the Pinson des rives, another establishment will have new lighting this summer. “Two more are planned before the holidays,” says Annick Perron.

The Pointe-au-Pic SDC has more than 100 members.
