West Virginia had to deal with a number of serious injuries on Saturday evening in their matchup with the TCU Horned Frogs. In addition to safety Aubrey Burksthe Mountaineers also had to deal with a lower leg injury to linebacker Trey Lathan. He stayed in Fort Worth overnight in the hospital. On Sunday followingnoon, WVU announced that the 6-foot-1, 225-pounder had successful surgery on his lower leg.
