Following the guidelines of the mayor of Sucre, Keiver Peña, the Municipal Institute for Women and Gender Equality of the local government, celebrated Orange Day, a favorable occasion to promote Non-Violence against Women, since this deviation that affects the female sex constitutes a socio-cultural problem that can be eradicated through an egalitarian culture, which allows for the dignified and respectful treatment of women in our society, as expressed by lawyer Rosmayra Hernández, president of the aforementioned institution.

The activity took place in front of the headquarters of the institution that defends women’s rights, located in the Yellow House on Bolívar Avenue in Sabana de Mendoza, where an orange ribbon was given to passers-by, which was placed in a place visible from his clothing, which identified him with the cause of Non-Violence Against Women, which was received in a friendly manner by those who passed by the place, where the operation for the Defense of Women’s Rights was held.

The operation reached all sectors that accepted the placement of the badge.
