There’s this movie with Robert Mitchum. In it he plays a false Southern preacher who tries to take advantage of a family, worms his widowed mother’s trust and murders her. He has the words “Love” and “Hate” tattooed on the knuckles of his hands, with which he vividly illustrates the struggle between good and evil for the children. The film is called the night of the hunter and Mitchum’s hand-wringing became a symbol of an almost Old Testament expressionism.
Sunny War balances the good and bad of the world – music on “Anarchist Gospel”.
