On Saturday, the weather will initially be sunny with rapidly cumuliform clouds in the Ardennes, which will spread towards the northwest during the day. In the followingnoon, there will therefore be alternating periods of sunshine and cumulus clouds, but on the coast, the sky will remain fairly clear.
The maxima range between 25 or 26 degrees in the Hautes Fagnes and 30 or 31 degrees elsewhere, announces the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM). Sunday will also be sunny and warm. Cumuliform clouds will form in places but the structured stormy showers should remain over France. It will be slightly wetter from the southwest, so heat storms may occur locally during the day, especially in the southwest of the country. Elsewhere, the weather will remain mostly dry. The maximum will be between 25 degrees in the Hautes Fagnes, 29 or 30 degrees elsewhere (including by the sea) and a little higher in the Campine. Next week, the IRM predicts a persistence of very sunny conditions with highs around 30 degrees on Monday, then gradually less hot weather.
