The Buccaneers will be on familiar ground during Super Bowl LV on February 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs, as the game will be played in Tampa. This is the first time in the history of the NFL that a team will play this important duel in its own stadium.

“It’s a huge advantage,” said “Bucs” head coach Bruce Arians on Monday.
“The biggest advantage is that we’re going to sleep in our own beds and just have our usual routine. Nothing is out of the ordinary until the media sessions start in a week. “
This extra rest will be even better received by the Buccaneers, who have played all of their playoff games away. The last time they played at home was during the last week of regular season activity on Jan. 3.
An advantage but …
We must not believe, however, that the Chiefs will not have a certain advantage either.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of the festivities surrounding the Super Bowl will be cut back significantly, which will help the cause of Patrick Mahomes and his gang.
“It will help them a lot,” added Arians. Generally speaking, when you come to town for the Super Bowl, you’re torn on all sides, so you try to do everything the week before. ”
“It’s a great advantage because it’s a simple away game. They are going to prepare just as we are going to do. No one will be involved in everything else. ”
