The Swiss riders were a bit disappointed during the CHIO Aachen Grand Prix. The best of them, Martin Fuchs, finished 8th while Steve Guerdat had to settle for 12th place.

Martin Fuchs was the best Swiss representative in Aachen.

Two days following their victory in the Prix des Nations, the Helvetians were therefore a little disappointed. The day turned into a triumph for the Germans in front of their home crowd: they indeed scored a hat-trick thanks to Marcus Ehning, Daniel Deusser and Philipp Weishaupt.

Quadruple Olympic champion Ludger Beerbaum (59) took 25th place and announced his retirement from sport.
