Artists to Watch at SXSW 2026

Big Soto – Known as Gustavo Rafael Guerrero Soto, this Venezuelan artist has made waves in the Latin trap scene. Big Soto transitioned from aspiring doctor to rapper and is signed to Rimas Entertainment. His collaborations, including a notable session with Argentine producer Bizarrap, are emblematic of his rising star.

Mariangela – Starting as a pop singer on YouTube, Mariangela has evolved her sound significantly. Her latest work draws from her Monterrey roots and presents a fierce message of female empowerment with her cumbia norteña track “Cuando Una Mujer.”

Esty – A first-generation Dominican American, Esty refuses to be confined to one genre. Her eclectic mix of dembow, alternative rock, and bachata can be heard in her upcoming single “V3n3n0” from her album “Domi Star.”
